                <text>In the glass case is the Lakeland Heritage Weekend medals, which were awarded during community celebrations and competitions. The pin serves a similar purpose, it is a small symbol of identity and pride that helps people remember and celebrate Lakeland's history and traditions.&#13;
This case includes one of the last original pins, and in my hand is the replica given out by the museum. </text>
